The Ideal Transformer:
Ideal Transformer is a lossless device with an input winding and an output winding.

The major differences between an ideal and real transformer are as follows:
- An ideal transformer’s core does not have any hysteresis and eddy current
l osses. - The magnetization curve of an ideal transformer is similar to a step function and the net
is zero.mmf - Flux in an ideal transformer stays in the core and hence
is zero.leakage flux - The resistance of windings in an ideal transformer is zero.
